Mr. Brooks has appeared in some of Hollywood’s all-time worst features, among them THE BEAST OF YUCCA FLATS, GLEN OR GLENDA and the immortal PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE. He also has had small parts in such films as THE MAD MAGICIAN (in 3D, no less) and the BOWERY BOYS’ JALOPY and CLIPPED WINGS. His business card reads, ‘Conrad Brooks, Movie Star.’ The New York Times named him, ‘The Gielgud of Bad Movies,’ a title he embraces fondly. Conrad is still very active, appearing in recent Hollywood features (such as Tim Burton’s ED WOOD) as well as producing and appearing in his own small budget videos.
