Charity Auction

Once again, I-CON will be holding an (almost) No-Minimum Bid Charity Auction in the Prichard Gym both on Saturday and on Sunday. (The minimum bid is actually one dollar.)

Comments and/or suggestions or to find out how you can donate something to be included in the auction, please contact auction@iconsf.org.

Guide Dog Foundation

This years charity auction will be raising money for the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind. Since 1946, the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind, Inc. has provided guide dogs free of charge to blind people who seek enhanced mobility and independence. Their students come to them from all over the United States and many foreign countries. Their trademark small classes and individualized instruction often attract students who may have special requirements. The Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind has successfully trained hearing-impaired blind people as well as many physically challenged people.

The Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind is supported entirely by donations from generous individuals, corporations and foundations. They receive no government funding. I hope that with your donations of items and money that we will be able to further this worthy cause.

For more information, please see their website: http://www.guidedog.org/index.html
