As the astronomer for the Newark Museum’s Dreyfuss
Planetarium since 1991, Kevin Conrod enjoys bringing the cosmos
to the public under the starry sky of a planetarium dome. He earned
a BS in astronomy from SUNY Stony Brook in 1989, and is a former
president of Stony Brook’s Science Fiction Forum. He was
also on the executive committee of I-CON, reigning as “Gopher
King” from 1985 to 1989. Kevin is an associate member of
the American Astronomical Society, president of the United Astronomy
Clubs of N.J.. and vice president of the North Jersey Astronomical
Group.
