 Luke Crane was born a poor city-boy on a farm uphill from
here, in the snow, last year. Shortly afterwards he was abandoned
in the urban forest by his clever parents. There he was raised by
a pack of wild old men, who entered him into high school shortly
after he turned 80 years old. Since then Luke has been aging gracefully
in nursing home retirement.
He designed the Burning Wheel Fantasy Roleplaying System so his
friends would stop complaining that he was making up rules on the
