Fulvia Pilat, PhD

Fulvia Pilat, Ph.D. is an Accelerator Physicist at Brokkhaven National Laboratory, where she leads the Beam Experiments Program at RHIC, the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. Fulvia joined Brookhaven in 1994 after her work in beam physics at CERN, the European Center for Particle Physics, and at the Superconducting Super Collider in Dallas. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the Division of Beam Physics of the American Physical Society. Fulvia lives in Seatauket, Long Island with husband Michael and daughters Katharina (15), Alexandra (10) and Angelica (8).
