Science and Technology Guest: Ian Randal Strock

Space Advocate, Editor of Artemis Magazine

Webpage: http://www.lrcpubs.com/irs.html

Ian Randal Strock is the editor and publisher of "Artemis Magazine: Science and Fiction for a Space-Faring Age" <www.LRCPublications.com>, the vice president of The Lunar Resources Company <www.tlrc.com>, and a director of Artemis Society International <www.asi.org> and the Moon Society <wwww.moonsociety.org>. All of these roles derive from Ian's work as a founder of the Artemis Project, a commercial venture to build a colony on the Moon.

When Ian's not working toward the Moon, he's a writer of fiction, non-fiction, pinion, and puzzles and games, which have appeared in Analog, Absolute Magnitude, Games, Mercury, and a slew of other publications. His personal web site is at <www.LRCPublications.com/irs.html>.

Ian was the treasurer of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America for two years, the president of Greater New York Mensa for four years, and the Editor Guest of Honor at Context in 2003.
