Warning About Staying Late:
Our main Info Desk is located in the lobby of the Sports Complex. Main information services will remain open in ISC until midnight on Friday evening. The Information Desk will move from the ISC to the Javits Lecture Center on Saturday evening at 9pm. The ISC is locked by campus security at midnight each night.

If you have transportation or hotel questions, it's best to ask them EARLY in the evening. A satellite Info Desk may be operated from the Javits Lecture Center but this location is not convenient to shuttle buses, the LIRR station, or parking lots.

Entering and Leaving Campus Late:
After 11:45pm, entrance to and exit from SB Campus is limited to the main entrance on Nicolls Road. If you find yourself needing to enter campus after this time, stop at the University Police checkpoint, show your badge and explain where you are going. You may also need to show photo ID such as a driver's license.

Film ratings are provided only as a guide.
Parents should use their own judgment as to whether a particular film or TV show is suitable. [U] = Un-rated, no published rating could be found.

I-CON has programming at the official I-CON Hotel - the Holiday Inn Ronkonkoma. Programming includes gaming and a Saturday night Masquerade with celebrity judges. Don’t miss it!

General directions to the Campus:
Take the Long Island Expressway (I-495) east to Exit 62 (Route 97)
Follow Nicolls Road north for 9 miles.
The main entrance to the University is on the left.

The nearest Public transportation to the hotel is the Ronkonkoma Train station of the LIRR. http://www.mta.nyc.ny.us/lirr/html/ttn/ronkonko.htm
Note that this is not the same train station as that for the campus.

Shuttle service during the DAY is provided by the hotel IF you call in advance to this train station and the ISP airport only.

Please note: there are TWO holiday inns. The official convention hotel is in Ronkonkoma, near Macarthur (ISP) Airport. The other hotel is a Holiday Inn Express in Stony Brook, but NOT our official hotel.

Directions to the Ronkonkoma Holiday Inn:
Take Nicholls Road south to the LIE (RT. 495) west.

Take the LIE to exit 60.
At the light, make a left onto Ronkonkoma Avenue.
Follow Ronkonkoma Avenue to the end.
At the end of Ronkonkoma Avenue, make a left onto Lakeland Avenue.
At the next light make a left onto RT. 454 (Veterans Memorial Highway).
The Hotel will be about 100 yards down on your left.

Alternate Route to the Ronkonkoma Holiday Inn:
Take Nicholl’s Road south approximately 10 miles to Sunrise Hwy West (NYS 27)
After exiting Nicholl’s road stay on the right hand side of the service road.
Stay on the service road following signs to NYS 454.
Take 454 west approximately 2 miles, the Ronkonkoma Holiday Inn is on the right hand side.

Directions from the Ronkonkoma Holiday Inn to the Convention:
Make a right out of the Holiday Inn parking lot onto RT. 454 (Veterans Memorial Highway).
Make a right onto Lakeland Avenue at the first light.
Follow Lakeland Ave to the LIE east.
From here follow normal directions approaching the convention from the west.Nicholl's Road Closed March 28:
As usual, I-CON will be running concurrently with the marathon on Nicholls Road from 8AM until 4PM on Sunday March 28th. Please be aware that you will probably have to take a different route to the campus, and make sure that you have planned accordingly. Directions will be made available at both Info Desks

From the West:
Take the LIE east to exit 60
Make the second left onto Hawkins road
As you cross Rt. 25, Hawkins road becomes Stony Brook Rd
Cross Rt. 347
Make a right turn at the second light after Rt. 347, onto South Drive
This is an entrance to the campus
Follow the signs to I-Con

From the Northern State Parkway
Follow the parkway to the end
It will become Rt. 347 and Rt. 454
Stay to your left
The road will fork; take the left fork, Rt. 347
Make a left onto stony brook rd
Make a right turn at the second light after Rt. 347, onto South Drive
This is an entrance to the campus
Follow the signs to I-Con

From the East
Take the LIE to exit 64
Take the first right onto Rt. 112
Cross Rt. 25
You will come to a fork in the road, Bear left onto Old Town Rd
(There is no light at this intersection, but there is a fleet bank on the left)
Make a left turn onto 347
Make a right turn onto Rt. 97 (Nicholls Rd)
Follow signs to campus

Food on Campus / Concessions
The State University of New York awards multi year contracts to a private company which operates food concessions on campus. With the exception of the Saturday Night Awards Banquet I-CON has no control over the food selection available on campus or its’ pricing and receives no financial consideration.
