I-CON's gaming guests and panels track has a lot of great things in store for our 25th anniversary, and keeping
with our theme of time travel we have guest ranging to the fathers of the hobby to some of the newest and brightest
writers in the industry today. Right now we are in the midst of getting everything in order and don't want to spoil
any surprises, so keep your eyes peeled to this space as more information will be coming soon.
Just to give you a taste of some of the special guest who will be gracing the convention this year. ICON Science
Fiction Inc. is pleased to have with us Queens, New York native Oscar Rios. Oscar is the author of Chaosium's
"Ripples from Carcosa" and the founder of "White Mice Publishing". Oscar Rios will be running demonstrations of
some of his newest works, and bringing us a great seminar on Horror genre game design.
Last year at I-CON 24, the Gaming Guests Track collaborated with the Demo Team to bring several veterans and
rising stars of the gaming industry to Stony Brook, whose numbers included Michael Pondsmith (R. Talsorian Games),
Eric Gibson (West End Games), Tony DiGerolamo (Complete Mafia for D20), Otto Blix (STUDiO187), Kory Kaese (Mystic
Station Designs), Geoffrey Bottone and Colleen Skadl (SlugFest Games), Luke Crane (Burning Wheel), Jared A.
Sorensen (Memento Mori Theatricks), Alex Jurkat (Eden Studios Inc.), Neal Levin (Dark Quest Games), Jason Libby
(Dilly Green Bean Games), and Brennan Taylor (Galileo Games). Some of these faces will return for I-CON 25 to show
off new games as well as dust off cherished classics. We encourage you to visit and while away a few minutes or
several hours with our guests as they discuss time travel in the game world, historical studies of the industry,
pattern changes over time, or join them as they leave their mark on I-CON's history by building a time capsule. We
will present both the Annual Gaming Achievement Award and a special Lifetime Achievement Award at the ICON Awards
Banquet to celebrate I-CON's 25th anniversary. Reserve early, tickets go quickly! Hope to see you soon!
Role Playing Games
RPGs at I-CON 24 was a huge success this past year due to all of our enthusiastic Staff and Game Masters. We enjoyed a greater prize support as
well as an increased number of games.
In the last few months some great games have been released from many well respected companies and it looks like many more scheduled to be released
in the next year.
I-CON 25 is a year of past present and future - and what better way to celebrate than to run games new and old in all the genres? This year we
will host more games, have special gaming events and even more prizes than last year.
If you're interested in running a few games over the weekend, please contact us at rpg@iconsf.org. We welcome
Game Masters of all levels and most games.

I-CON brings you a new episode of the Living Spycraft campaign, updated to
the award-winning game's second edition! Bring your Spycraft 2.0
