A year has passed since CHANCELLOR PALPATINE turned the GALACTIC REPUBLIC against the JEDI COUNSEL. Disorganized and scared, the few remaining cabals of JEDI KNIGHTS have fled to remote parts of the galaxy to escape capture and destruction.

Meanwhile, the Republic's agenda has begun to change. Squadrons of CLONE TROOPERS have been sent to weed out the remaining Jedi. The Republic has also placed a price on the head of all living Jedi so large that nearly every BOUNTY HUNTER in the galaxy is chasing them as well.

And rumors persist that the SITH LORDS are behind the Republic's betrayal. It is even believed by some that a dark Jedi known only as THE HAND is also assisting in tracking and capturing the last remains of the Jedi Knights...
