Margaret Weis Productions
Gaming Guest of Honor

Margaret Weis has been involved in game publishing since she joined TSR, Inc. in the early 1980s, and has always been interested in how games can reflect other kinds of entertainment -- including books, television shows, comics, and movies. Since those early years she has been involved in numerous companies, including owning a game store, a company that published collectible card games, and role playing games.

In 2005 Margaret founded her latest venture, Margaret Weis Productions, Ltd., with Jamie and Renae Chambers. The company's mission is to combine popular licenses with original ideas and a mixture of veteran game designers and fresh new talent. The company's focus in role playing games, and began with the venerable Dragonlance setting and a completely new game based on the movie Serenity. Her company now publishes both games and fiction, including material based on Margaret's best-selling novels and some of the hottest properties beloved by gamers (Battlestar Galactica, Supernatural).
