The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is a not-for-profit educational organization that focuses on the study of pre-seventeenth century cultures. Although the SCA concentrated most of its studies in Medieval and Renaissance Europe in the beginning, it has expanded its field of interest to include the cultures of Asia, Africa, and the Middle East over the past 38 years. Through recreation, members of the SCA learn and teach the arts, sciences, and cultures that they have an interest in from the time periods covered.

The Barony of An Dubhaigeainn, the Suffolk County, New York chapter of the SCA, will be providing demonstrations and classes on some of the local interests throughout the weekend.

Come and bring history to life in the modern age!
